A Home to Share
An experiment in sharing my home with others.
My biggest expense (by far) is my home. Currently I rent an apartment. It is simple and easy but expensive when I want to go on longer trips. The home is just sitting there, idle. Wasted resources.
I want to experiment to see if I can fix this. Should I have my own apartment and rent it out when I'm not there? Or rent shorter term rentals and cancel when I go travel?
I have decided the cancel this experiment for now.
Finding 'a home to share' made sense when my plan was to go on long trips abroad over the next couple of years. But I have changed my plans so this is no longer as relevant.
This is still something I would like to experiment with at some point. But for now it is on hold.
